The "Brewster" lychee variety is preferred by consumers in North America because it is a very colorful red fruit that is aromatic, sweet, firm, and juicy. It also the preferred commercial variety in North America because the tree branches are resistant from breaking due to wind, consistently produces lychee fruit every year, and is known to be virtually pest free unlike most lychee varieties.
It has a harvesting period of 6 weeks that begins the last week of April. Each year, we are the first grove to produce fresh lychees in the Northern hemisphere.
Fruit mass varies between 21/25 g. the sugar acid ratio is about 30:1
